For Your Consideration

Ricky Gervais, Chris Guest, Eugene Levy. And the usual brilliant suspects including Parkey Posey, Bob Ballaban, Catherine O'Hara, Fred Willard, Michael McKean, Harry Shearer (and more) A few months ago I saw ten minutes of the film. It looks great. (With a busy week the posts may be delayed.) Here is the Warner Independent Official Website

Eugene Levy plays talent agent Morley Orfkin, President of the Dorkman-Orfkin Agency (DOA).

Even in this trailer, there were some fabulous cringe-worthy moments. Oh, this is going to be a good one. Your take on Guest's interpretation of Hollywood will be interesting. After all, the best satire is always so close to the truth.

I love Chris Guest's movies, mostly because I love the fearlessness of his cast. Eugene Levy in "A Mighty Wind" was incredible. I still don't know HOW he didn't get some sort of award for that.

Fred Willard. Comedy God.

Ironically, somebody who is president of the Dorkman-Orfkin Agency probably gets laid more than I do...

I can't wait to see this. I am such a huge fan of Christopher Guest. I watch Spinal Tap or Waiting for Guffman at least once a month.

I don't get out to the flicks often...but I'm making a point to get out for this one!

Thanks, P, what a fun movie!

I look forward to this one.

One of my favorite movies is Best in Show. I spent a lot of time as a kid at dog shows (my mom was a concessioner) and Christopher Guest perfectly captured the whole mindset—how he did it so well I can't imagine, but he did. He is a genius!

And I love Catherine O'Hara. She's beautiful!
