The Last Knit

Because I started a new gig yesterday you get this beautifully crafted animated short. It speaks to my own obsessive nature. For me I can only learn by diving into whatever interests me. I can supplement knowledege with books but have little to no retention. On the scale of intelligence I fail miserably. Luckilly... I work in the film business.

If those are Acme Knitting Needles, they are the same ones that did in Wile E. Coyote, and should probably be taken off the market at this time.

Then again, she didn't have to "look down and see that she just walked off a cliff" before she started falling, so maybe they are not.

That's the best 6 minutes 44 seconds I've spent today.

Hope the new gig is going well.

If you have time, go to You Tube and check out The Monk and the Fish by Michael Dudok De Wit.

I'm back to read your blog again.*wink*

Don't think you can slack off the blog just because you're working ;-)

Caroline

I nearly posted a picture of Daniel Baldwin- admitting that I (Portnoy) am Baldwin and mentioning that posts will come from the LA County Jail when I get some quality time in the network showers.

On the other hand I am thinking of changing my profile to Chris Rock. But I couldn't ever admit to having been taken for him.

The new gig is now going great. The first few days with a new director can be very much like the scene in North By Northwest where, in the study, Jimmy Stewart meets James Mason for the first time.

Portnoy, I would never have fallen for the Daniel Baldwin story. You're just too articulate for that to work. And hopefully we're all better looking than that mugshot - scary! - what do they do, reverse makeover you so you look scary as hell for those. Does no one get arrested after a night on the town with full hair/makeup and glad rags?

Glad the new gig is going swimmingly. I would expect nothing less.

Off for a half night's sleep ... I'm going through a quasi-insomnia at the present. Four hours max is all I'm sleeping. Theoretically good for productivity (though quality of anything is dubious) but not good for my demeanour (cranky!).

Be well, everyone.

That was wonderful. I can't help but wonder what she was going to do next with the scissors.

Hmmm... I haven't noticed before having to post signed in to blogger. Oh well, I think I still have that blogger site up. Haven't checked in months though.
